We're Moving: What You Need to Know
Public Works and Community Development Services Facility
The City of La Vergne is excited to announce we are moving many of our departments to a new Public Works and Community Development Services Facility. The facility, located at 1500 E. Nir Shreibman Blvd., will be the new home for a majority of the services offered by the city, including:

City Hall, 5093 Murfreesboro Road, will remain open to provide services that are not relocating to the new facility. These services include:

La Vergne's parks and recreation, fire rescue, and police departments will not be impacted by relocations to the new facility.
Office Closures
The Public Works Building, 148 International Blvd., officially closed to the public on April 4, 2025. Services officially moved to the new facility on April 7, 2025.
The Stormwater, Codes, and Planning Building, 5175 Murfreesboro Road, will officially close to the public on April 25, 2025. Services officially move to the new facility on April 28, 2025.
The Water Billing and Tax departments at City Hall, 5093 Murfreesboro Road, will officially move to the new facility on April 28, 2025. City Hall will remain open for other administrative business.
Public Meetings
Board and commission meetings as well as city court will still be held in the City Hall boardroom. Anyone planning to attend a public meeting is encouraged to confirm the location of the meeting prior to arrival.
Service Impact
The water billing department and tax department relocations are expected to have the biggest impact on residents. Water billing services will be officially moving to the new facility on April 28, 2025. As always, customers are encouraged to use the online or phone billing (water billing: 855-509-4209, property taxes: 877-580-5923) options for regular payments, though in-person payments are also available. More information on alternative payment options can be found here.
Water billing and tax business, including payments, will not be taken in person at the new facility prior to April 28.
Services conducted at the Stormwater, Codes, and Planning building, i.e. issuing permits, certificates of occupancy, etc., will officially move to the new building on April 25, 2025.
