The dog park grand opening and ribbon cutting were on August 27, 2022.

There are two separate dog parks, one for smaller dogs and another for larger breeds over 30 lbs. This park was part of the Boyd Foundation Dog Park Dash grant that awarded the City with $25,000 in 2019 to go towards the development of a dog park.
