The La Vergne Police Department is made up of nearly 100 sworn and civilian personnel who serve the City of La Vergne 24/7. There are many different divisions including administration, communication, records, patrol, and criminal investigations.
Patrol
The patrol officers of the La Vergne Police Department (LPD) are involved in a number of patrols including vehicle, motorcycle, and bicycle. LPD’s patrol unit is divided into 3 shifts and a Crime Suppression Unit.
