Next Steps
In 2023, the Board of Mayor and Aldermen voted to send the zoning ordinance back to the Planning Commission for further review. Once a recommendation is made by the Planning Commission the ordinance will be brought to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen for two readings. The zoning ordinance must pass both readings to be approved.
Public Hearings
Public hearings regarding the new zoning ordinance will be held prior to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen meetings to allow residents the opportunity to address the Board with any comments or concerns.
